By accessing or using the Helix platform at helixmenshealth.com.au ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
Helix Health Pty Ltd (ABN 61 696 568 126) is a telehealth platform that connects Australian men with AHPRA-registered general practitioners for assessment, diagnosis, and where clinically appropriate, treatment of hormonal health conditions including testosterone deficiency (hypogonadism). Helix is not a medical practice and does not employ doctors. All clinical decisions are made independently by the treating doctor under their own AHPRA registration.
The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Treatment is only available to those deemed clinically eligible by an AHPRA-registered doctor following a thorough assessment including blood testing. Not all patients will be eligible for treatment. Eligibility restrictions apply.
To use our services you must be: at least 18 years of age, an Australian resident, eligible for Medicare, and able to attend a pathology collection centre for blood testing. Our services are available to men only.
Our service involves the following steps: online symptom assessment, payment of a consultation fee, blood test referral and collection, telehealth consultation with a doctor, and if eligible, prescription and treatment delivery. The $300 consultation fee covers the cost of the initial telehealth consultation only. Blood tests are typically bulk billed through Medicare at major pathology providers, meaning no out-of-pocket cost in most cases — however this may vary depending on your circumstances. Treatment is not guaranteed — eligibility is determined solely by the treating doctor. If you are not eligible for treatment, no further charges apply.
Initial Consultation ($300 AUD). The initial consultation fee of $300 AUD is a one-time charge for the doctor-led clinical assessment. This fee covers the telehealth consultation, blood test referral, and clinical recommendation. It is not credited toward any future charge.
Helix Care Subscription ($119 AUD/month). If treatment is clinically appropriate and you choose to proceed, the Helix Care subscription is $119 AUD per month. This covers ongoing treatment management, prescription coordination, doctor oversight, patient support, and portal access. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for months already billed unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
Medication, Supplies & Shipping (billed separately by pharmacy). Testosterone medication, injection supplies (needles, syringes, swabs, sharps container), and shipping are not included in the Helix Care subscription. These are billed separately by the partner compounding pharmacy when your prescription is filled. Medication is billed monthly by our partner pharmacy. Estimated cost is $80–$130/month — exact pricing confirmed before any charge is made.
Blood Tests. Blood tests may be required as part of your initial assessment and ongoing monitoring. Where a pathology referral is issued by your doctor, blood tests are typically bulk-billed through Medicare at major pathology providers. Blood tests are not included in the consultation fee or the Helix Care subscription.
All medical decisions, including prescribing, monitoring, and treatment cessation, are made independently by the treating GP under their own professional judgment and AHPRA obligations. Helix facilitates the service but does not direct clinical decisions.
Testosterone is a Schedule 4/8 prescription-only medicine under the Poisons Standard. It can only be legally supplied with a valid prescription from an AHPRA-registered doctor. Any attempt to obtain testosterone without a valid prescription is illegal. Helix does not supply medication — dispensing is handled by TGA-registered compounding pharmacies.
To the extent permitted by law, Helix's liability for any claim arising from your use of our service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 3 months. Helix is not liable for any clinical outcomes, adverse reactions, or decisions made by treating doctors.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
